Whenever you work with either a colleague or with a remote team, there will come the time when you have to merge changes with theirs. One of the useful features when working with git is being able to preview just how many changes there are compared to the branch on which you are working.
Of course, git has a way of showing the list of differing commits. You can use this command to show a (nicely formatted) list of changes between the develop and master branches:
